Terms & Conditions
A legal disclaimer
We do NOT Provide Legal Advise and cannot advise you on any of your legal matters. We recommend that you contact a lawyer for legal advice regarding your matter.
We can assist with Legal document preparation. This is a cost savings benefit as we charge less per hour than an attorney. You may then take these legal documents to an attorney for review, saving you a lot of money.
We do not file your documents. You are responsible for having an attorney review your documents and you are responsible for filing your documents if you choose to do so. We assume no responsibility for filing deadlines that may effect your matter including the outcome of your matter. You must look up the filing deadlines on the court website or contact the court for relevant deadlines. Most courts have a wonderful self help section that you can use to get this information.
We can not and do not promise or predict the outcome of your matter. We are not attorneys and therefore can not possibly foresee all possible legal ramifications or issues/errors with our documents including but not limited to additional expenses incurred, omissions, error's, case outcomes, tax consequences, etc. We highly recommend that you contact a tax attorney for all tax questions.
We do not practice law and there for WE DO NOT REPRESENT YOU, and we can not appear for you. For any hearing you may have you will either have to appear or your attorney (not us) will have to appear.
Unless otherwise agreed to in a written agreement, all time and work is billed hourly, including document preparation, emails, calls, and costs are billed as follows copies at .20/page and postage is billed at the actual cost.
Please note we are a paperless office. We will require all documents be sent to us in PDF format, we can not use JPEGS/photos. Please convert any photos, screenshots, documents to PDF before sending them to us. If we have to spend time converting files we will bill you for this time, Save yourself the money.
The exception to the paperless rule are original documents that require a wet signature and need to be notarized.
For all notarizations the signer MUST have acceptable ID
Acceptable forms of ID include:
Drivers License (unexpired)
State ID (Unexpired)
Passport (unexpired)
US Military ID (active service)
If you do not have any of the above, we require
TWO subscribing witnesses who MUST know and be able to identify the signer, be over the age of 18, each have one of the valid forms of ID above for themselves, and they must be present to witness the signers signature and be willing and able to sign the notary book.
ALL Signers (and Witnesses) MUST HAVE CAPACITY to sign. If we come to you and the signer and or subscribing witnesses lack capacity we will not notarize and you will still be responsible for our travel feel.
All signers MUST be signing of their OWN FREE WILL. We will often require that all other parties not be present so we can be sure that the signer is signing of their own free will, if we feel unsure, we will not notarize and you will still be responsible for our travel fee.
For the safety of our notaries we will ask you to meet us as at a public location close to you such as a coffee shop, office or a library.
All invoices are due within 7 days of receipt. No documents will be delivered until payment has been received. We will provide documents purchased within 7 days of receipt of payment and usually within 24-48 hours. Please note there may be office closures during Holiday times that may extend the time period to receive documents.
Any holiday closures will be communicated via email.
